Growing up I witnessed first hand how my father built a reputation within this industry, and that reputation is what provided for myself and my family. What I learnt from him was that it doesn’t matter what you do, as long as you are doing to the best of your abilities, and that working to improve yourself is a better feeling than any salary.  I made it my goal to follow in his footsteps and hold myself to the standard of excellence and be able to provide.

Where Oxbow has aided in this journey is by curating an environment where even after almost 30 years in the industry I still find myself in a position where I am learning from my peers, new techniques, diagnosis, methods of maintenance, etc. A key part of this is the daily exchange between myself and the other engineers. We are consistently building off and learning from each other while simultaneously teaching each other. This environment makes it easy to show up and come to work.
