Oxbow originated in 2003 under the leadership of Dutch entrepreneur Koos Ligtenberg. Having run a successful Xerox Concessionaire in Europe, he decided to relocate to South Africa and follow his passion for sales and marketing with the Xerox brand. Oxbow Office Solutions has enjoyed tremendous growth since its inception.

The office supplies division has a rich portfolio of supplies created to match the performance of Xerox equipment, as well as that of other manufacturers. Products include toner and developer supplies; fax, copier, ink-jet and laser printer cartridges; dozens of grades, colour and sizes of coated and uncoated paper (many designed for today's high-resolution digital publishing), printing and copying applications, transparencies and print-ready presentation folders, tab stock, labels and carbonless paper.
